Statement on Equal Employment Opportunity and Diversity

The U.S. Mission in Nepal aims to develop a highly qualified and skilled workforce that reflects the diversity of Nepali society. This objective is based on the belief that credibility in representing American values of equal employment opportunity and diversity is based, in part, on “walking the talk” in employment practices.

The Mission is dedicated to hiring, training, mentoring, and sustaining a diverse workforce. Toward that end, the Mission affirmatively reaches out to qualified candidates from underrepresented groups.  Every effort is made to ensure a workplace where all employees are treated with respect and valued based upon their contributions.
