Presentation on Influenza Pandemic Preparedness at Birendra Military Hospital

U.S. Speaker Daniel C. Rutz, Associate Director of Communications Science, Centers for Disease Control (CDC) Atlanta, GA, shared his knowledge on influenza pandemic preparedness with 50 representatives of Nepal Army Hospital, Nepali Police, Armed Police, Ministry of Home’s Disaster Wing, and Public Health Professionals.
The program helped participants to learn clinical details about the diseases as well as the necessity for timely and authentic communication with the public when infectious diseases spread in the society at large.
