Information Officer Visits Orient College

Public Affairs Information Officer Nicole Chulick, along with the library director and outreach librarian of the American Library, visited Orient College in Kathmandu. The Principal of the institution, Mr. L.P. Bhetwal, welcomed them and introduced them to 73 "A Level" students (40 boys and 33 girls). The Information Officer gave a talk on the U.S. education system followed by a lively question and answer session.

The students wanted to know about the scholarship opportunities and requirements to study in U.S. colleges. The Information Officer told them about the differences in teaching techniques in U.S. colleges and Nepal. She also invited them to visit the American Library and briefed them on the resources available at the American Library.
