American Library Kathmandu's library director and outreach librarian conducted classes on basic librarianship to 44 students (30 girls) undergoing 35 days of basic librarianship training organized by American Corner and Public Library Pokhara, along with the National Library Association. The Mission librarians also informed their professional colleagues about the resources available at the American Library and American Corner. Most of the participants were local librarians from various academic institutions of the region. This training was the first of its kind held in Pokhara.
