American Library Kathmandu Tells Morality Tale: Screens High Noon
October 30, 2009
At the request of library patrons and students of Lincoln College, Public Affairs Kathmandu's American Library screened the classic Western High Noon. Counselor for Public Affairs Terry White welcomed the modest audience of 30, including students from Lincoln College and other library patrons, and spoke about the tale of an aging lawman who stands alone to defend a town of righteous cowards in one of the greatest showdowns in the history of cinema. He also briefed the audience on the resources available at the American Library.
