PAS librarians welcomed twenty-six students from Oxford Higher Secondary School of Gaindakot, Nawalparasi (approx. 200 km SW of Kathmandu) and informed them about the resources available at the American Library. The students were visiting the library for the first time as part of an educational tour to Kathmandu and adjoining districts. Such students are brought in on a regular basis to visit the American Library Kathmandu as an example of a modern library in Nepal, and to learn more about American culture, society and values.
