American Embassy Hosts Super Wednesday Event to Observe U.S. Primary Elections

More than 75 guests watched the live telecast of the results of U.S. primary elections in the new embassy complex during a Super Wednesday results party on the morning of February 6. Embassy staff wearing red, white and blue “Ask Me” buttons answered questions about the U.S. election system, primary elections and incoming results. Folders with relevant primary election information were distributed to the participants. The audience included students, young political leaders, journalists, army officers and prominent Nepalis who actively participated in the event. Post used a combination of live broadcasts, websites, and election materials to track and describe the U.S. primary election process and results.
