U.S. Embassy Closed for Maha Shiva Ratri and President’s Day

The U.S. Mission to Nepal will be closed on Friday, February 12, 2010 in observance of Maha Shiva Ratri, a national holiday in Nepal. The Mission will also be closed on Monday, February 15 for President's Day, a national holiday in the United States.

The Chancery, USAID and the Consular and Public Affairs Sections are among the components of the Mission that are located at the Embassy compound in Maharajgunj.
