U.S. Mission Closed on September 7 for Labor Day

The U.S. Mission to Nepal will be closed on Monday, September 7, in observance of Labor Day, a national holiday in the U.S. The first Monday of September, observed as the Labor Day, is dedicated to the social and economic achievements of workers. It constitutes a yearly national tribute to the contributions workers have made to the strength, prosperity, and well-being the nation.
The Chancery, USAID and the Consular and Public Affairs Sections are among the components of the Mission that are located at the Embassy compound in Maharajgunj.
