Special Adviser for Global Youth Issues Arrives in Nepal

Ronan Farrow, the Secretary of State’s Special Adviser for Global Youth Issues, arrived in Nepal today for a four-day visit. Mr. Farrow will meet with youth activists, students, politicians, and media representatives.

A lawyer and former human rights advocate and journalist, Mr. Farrow assumed his current role following two years as the State Department’s Special Adviser for Humanitarian and NGO Affairs in the Office of the Special Representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan, overseeing the U.S. Government’s relationships with civil society and non-governmental actors.
