To help celebrate the March 5, 2006, American Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences Awards -- “The Oscars” -- the American Library has dedicated March as “American Movie Month.” Each morning starting Monday, March 6, the library will screen a film selected from the American Film Institute’s list of the 100 Greatest American Movies. Seating is limited to the first 40 people in the door, and the films will begin promptly at 9 a.m. The schedule is listed below.
