    U.S Ambassador to Nepal Peter Bodde formally turned over $1.8 million of Global Peacekeeping Operations Initiative (GPOI) funded heavy engineering equipment to the Nepalese Army at the Birendra Peacekeeping Operations Training Center in Panchkhal

    Police Officers Trained in Polygraph (Lie-Detector) Technology

    Three Armed Police Force and seven Nepal Police officers have completed a 400-hour Basic Polygraph Examiners Course. The U.S. Embassy offered this training through the Academy of Polygraph Science of Fort Myers, Florida and the Stoelting Company.
