Important Security Announcement for American Citizens in Nepal

At 10:30 am this morning, a local Catholic Church in Kathmandu, the Church of the Assumption in Lalitpur, was bombed. One person is dead and thirteen are injured. It is unclear at the time what the motive for the attack was. The Embassy has ordered official Americans to avoid this area; private Americans citizens are urged to do the same.
