Important Security Announcement for American Citizens in Nepal

The UCPN-M are planning to launch a nationwide protest campaign starting August 7. Public street protests, demonstrations around government facilities and traffic disruptions are likely.  Protests and demonstrations can turn violent.  American citizens are urged to exercise caution during times when demonstrations are announced and to avoid areas where demonstrations are occurring or crowds are forming.
